One day a girl named Chloe said, “Mamma, can I get a frog?”
“Chloe, where would the frog live?”
“In our pond!”
“Okay, we can get a frog.”
So, Chloe and her mum walked to the animal shelter.
When they got there Chloe saw the perfect frog. They got the frog and left.
When they got home, they put the frog in the pond.
Eventually, the frog laid eggs and soon there were millions of frogs.
Later, the house was crowded with frogs.
Chloe’s mum was furious, so she told Chloe that they would have to give the mum frog and babies to the animal shelter.
The next day when Chloe got back from school, she said, “Mum, can I get a snake?”
